Εντυπωσιακές παρουσίες στα φετινά βραβεία του MTV

Σε μία ξεχωριστή τελετή, γεμάτη μουσική και λάμψη, στο Νιου Τζέρσεϊ των ΗΠΑ, με παρουσιαστή τον κωμικό ηθοποιό Σεμπάστιαν Μανισκάλκο, απονεμήθηκαν τα φετινά βραβεία του MTV με την Τέιλορ Σουίφτ, την Αριάνα Γκράντε και την πρωτοεμφανιζόμενη Μπίλι Άιλις να είναι οι μεγάλες νικήτριες της βραδιάς.

Το σόου ξεκίνησε με ένα μοναδικό, πολύχρωμο περφόρμανς η Τέιλορ Σουίφτ, η οποία έφυγε με τρία βραβεία, μεταξύ των οποίων και το «Καλύτερο Βίντεο» για το τραγούδι «You Need to Calm Down»

Το «φαινόμενο» Μπίλι Άιλις που έχει κερδίσει το κοινό με την μουσική της κέρδισε το βραβείο για τον «Καλύτερο Νέο Καλλιτέχνη» επικρατώντας έναντι της επίσης δημοφιλούς Lizzo.

Ανάμεσα στους νικητές είναι και οι Lil Nas X και Billy Ray Cyrus, οι οποίοι κέρδισαν το βραβείο για το «Τραγούδι της Χρονιάς» με το «Old Town Road (Remix)», ενώ η Αριάνα Γκράντε έφυγε με το βραβείο για την «Καλύτερη Καλλιτέχνη της Χρονιάς».

Τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες στις κατηγορίες των MTV VMA 2019 είχαν οι Τέιλορ Σουίφτ και Αριάνα Γκράντε, οι οποίες είχαν από 10.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της λαμπερής βραδιάς τιμήθηκε με το Michael Jackson Vanguard Award η ράπερ Missy Elliott, ενώ στη συνέχεια τραγούδησε live, για πρώτη φορά μετά από 16 χρόνια κάνοντας την έκπληξη.

Στη σκηνή του MTV ανέβηκαν επίσης οι Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Normani, H.E.R., Big Sean, Lil Nas X, Rosalia, J Balvin, Ozuna και A$AP Ferg.

Ακόμα μία έκπληξη που επιφύλασσε η βραδιά ήταν το live performance των Jonas Brothers, σε εξωτερικό χώρο, με φόντο τον ποταμό του Νιου Τζέρσεϊ.
